I got about 3 hours of sleep today, but I'm worried that if I lay down too early I'll keep my wife awake all night. Again.

Does sitting help with the discomfort better than laying down?

Yeah, I can actually sleep a little sitting up. That may be how tonight ends up. Well I can tell you before my back surgery last August I slept in a chair for three months, because when I would lay down I would get spasms that were so bad I would cry out because they would just hit with no warning.

That's how it hits me. Just comes out of nowhere. I can handle the aches and pains, but the shooting pains are getting me
