I got kick off a range last week for doing speed drills. Well jeez, its not like you haven't trained to do that a few times.. I got them to refund my money. I paid $400 for a year pass on their indoor range. When they said, "you can't do that here," I got upset. Maybe you can find some BLM land and practice anything you want. There is a Nation Guard Base nearby where it is cool, but the $400 pass at the close range got me 20 percent on top of my 10 percent discount on ammo. It was worth it until I learned I can't do want I meed/want to do. For background, I want to go to the tact-combat interservice competitions. 2012 will be the first year they exist. Would be awesome to be the first champion

Heck it would be neat just to compete let alone win! Would you give us your autograph BEFORE you become rich and famous and we can't afford it? It would probably be worth more later on that way as well.

From what I hear, the competition will include a lot of physical exertion and fast shooting and transition from rifle to handgun. I think I fit the bill. But, I may be writing checks with my mouth my ....

Hey, you never know until you try. Like me, I was once in a bicycle race. I was older than all but MAYBE 3 other competitors. I was overweight for that kind of thing. I came in the top 20 out of 80. I was proud of that.
