yes, my oldest told me that she feels violated and helpless trouble was really my wife's cat, only animal that she ever allowed on her bed in her life. He slept every night with her, usually with his head on her hand or nuzzled into her back Most days he met me in the front yard after work, I would carry him inside, where he would stay for a while getting petted. I am not normally a cat person, but he was special

Just no call to do that to a cat

I can't stand people that abuse animals. I have a soft spot for cats especially.

it would have been worse for him if he didn't make it home. At least his last night he was able to get sort of comfortable he slept exhausted for 3 or 4 hours, we where able to get him purring for a while, then he slept most of the night being petted by my wife and I. At the vet he was on hydromorph while doing x-rays, and he was snuggled up to my wife when he was put down. Better that then slowly dying of thirst or shock under a bush somewhere.
I really don't think i could control myself right now if i found out who did it

what's up fellas?
Really sorry to hear about your cat CBC. I guess I find it hard to believe somebody would actually do that even though I know somebody would. But I have to wonder how the doctor would know that somebody kicked the cat and it wasnt hit by a car or some other unintended accident. but I guess part of me would keep suggesting that Idea even if I knew otherwise just to take some of the disgust away from the event.

from what i understand there is a quite distinct injury pattern caused by a kick unfortunately it is well documented and vets learn to recognize it

my wife and oldest daughter saw the x-rays, they are very upset no other injuries on the cat except his front claws
The vet was astonished that he made it home and said it showed just how much Trouble loved us
