Today is our Remembrance Day, we to pause for a minutes silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
Here in Canada it is solemn day of remembering and thanking our veterans for their sacrifice and honour

Not that I've been gone anywhere, but I'm back at work and ready for this weekend to kick off!

Three days on, a couple off, then two more on and I've got a week off. Can't wait either.

So, a little more than an hour before our Birthday Ball celbration begins, and I have to narrate in front of the entire command including the commanding general and their families. I have been interviewed by multiple news agencies (fox, CNN etc) and have never veen this nervous. Speaking to a global audience is much easier than reading the extremely emotional words within my narrative in front of my brothers. I may tear up when I read the part about the MIA/KIA empty table near the entrance.

Now, time for a glass of Maker's Mark to settle these nerves.
