Keep Susan's mom in your prayers. She's having a valve replacement and a doubly bypass this morning. Susan has to be at the hospital at 6am, and she called me a little while ago crying, scared to death.

Will do Todd. Thankfully these days that is not anywhere near the risk it used to be.

That's what I've been trying to tell her. It's not like having a root canal, but it's not like it used to be either

They can and do wonders these days. Had a man in our church that was 92 and had open heart surgery. He was up and around on the second day!

It's something else. Her mom went into the hospital for pneumonia and they found the heart valve was sticking, sent her to a cardiologist and he found the rest today during a heart cath.

Wow, must be serious if they are going to do surgery that fast!

Pretty bad. Said it was completely blocked on one side and partially blocked on two other arteries.

Well at least they aren't dragging their feet.

I figured they'd do it Monday. But she called about 7pm and said they were doing it in the morning. Doc said they were gonna do it ASAP

Well, old buddy, time for me to go. Gotta file some stuff before I leave. Talk to you later this evening, or tonight.
