I'm always interested to know such things, like if they are using CNC to machine down the blanks now. I saw the 511 had machine lines on it under the coating, just wondering if this is gonna be SOP from now on.

nothing wrong with cnc machine imo
last fixed blade i bought was the regulator tt though

I did CNC maching for years, it's much easier and more consistant, and less labor intensive than grinding blades one at a time. I'm just curious about it.

Don't feel bad Bill. I'm not getting the 7-11 either. I've already got the SOD, but even so I probably couldn't get one til after Christmas. Money is tight all over, I think.

set of new winter tires for the wife's truck is next.
