I like to have the adjustable stock on my guns to adapt to the gear and clothing I am wearing. you have to pay lots of cash to have that on a M1a

the lmt .308mws is really growing on me. and you can get 16 and 20inch barrels for it. you cant with the scar.

the lwrc you have to change the upper I think to get the different barrel lengths.
and you have to make a project gun if you want to change the barrel on a m1a

the LMT you can change the barrel out easily from what I see and read.

one guy took a factory lmt and was hitting a 10inch by10 inch plate at 650 yards 5for5.
