Misty rain all day and 100% overcast. Temp started out about 56, now dropped to 44 supposed to stay this way with heavier rain predicted tomorrow and Tuesday.

Hi guys.
It warmed up to 40 F here. The snow might even be gone by nightfall.

5,550 22lr rounds sitting in the safe waiting on the new Ruger. I ordered the TRS-25 and Hogue finger groove grips. Once it all arrives, my new plinker/critter getter will look like this minus the extra long rail. ![[Linked Image from shotgunscopes.info]](http://shotgunscopes.info/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/5fbdf_bushnell_5300746886_b52f376cf2.jpg) Not the same model 22/45 either. But close enough for me to dream about until it gets here.

Yeah, I bought a used Garland. It will fit everything I need it to and weighs 650 lbs. Loaded with me loot, it should be near 1,000 lbs. It is rated at TL-15, so I think that will give the cops enough time to respond to my alarm system without them being able to get in the safe or take it with them.

I have forgotten the rating systems of the safes, is it a fireproof safe?

It is rated U.L. 2, so one like it hase been test be the Underwriters Laboratory to keep the contents under 300 degrees for at least 2 hours while being blasted with 1,700 degree blow torches on its entire surface. The average house fire is about 350 degrees. So it should be good.
The TL-15 rating means a team of locksmiths could not get into it within 15 minutes using standard locksmith tools. I imagine thieves would take longer since they have to get the tools ready and aren't as capable as locksmiths, at least not the ones that would be robbing a middle class man living in a single bedroom apartment.
