I want to keep the gun under 40 inches and less than 10 pounds

My RFB has an 18 inch barrel at 26 overall and weighs 8.1 lbs. The one with a 24 inch barrel is only 8.7 lbs and is 32 overall.

You're welcome GD. You could probably get short mags for the Kel tec but if not I am sure some kind of a block (wood or plastic) could be made and inserted into the magazine to block it off to only 3-5 rounds.

Skunk they take the cheap, readily available FAL standard mags. There are plenty of low count mags in FAL sizes.

I thought the same thing when I saw it. A 32 inch barrel in a 40 inch weapon, nasty little beast.

My grandad calls his 700 Old Faithful. He has blasted more deer into his freezer with it than I will in two lifetimes with all my guns.
