Well I made it to Cabela's yesterday and after looking at alot of handguns I was forced <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> to buy this ![[Linked Image from img13.imageshack.us]](http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/2254/20111206201522295.jpg) ![[Linked Image from img684.imageshack.us]](http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/1847/20111206201455170.jpg) The sig C3 plus in 45acp, it is an officers frame and commander slide and they added a magwell that extends the grip area. I was actually looking for a 22 and 9mm but have been lusting for the C3 for some time, I didn't even see it in the case but when the guy said you should check out the C3, it was over for me when I put it into my hands.

I love it and hopefully can get out this weekend. I am headed back to Cabela's Saturday for the doorbuster sale to get that sig 22 but I have to call them to make sure they have more than 2 for the sale.

Have had a 3" and 3.5" 1911 and neither would run 100% even after tuning by renown smiths. Am a firm believer in 4" or better on the 1911.

Is that SIG an alloy frame? Yes it is the alloy frame with a stainless slide. The grips are really comfortable, I have VZs on my other 3 1911s and really like them and will have to contact them about a set for the sig.

Been eyeballing that SIG 22, but think I want the Ruger 45/22 with threaded barrel, so I can get my first can.
