Two jobs will make an old man out of you QUICK, especially with school thrown to boot! When do you ever find time to sleep?

I have more than 60 days of leave on the books at the moment. Haven't really had time to use them.

Then it's just 1 1/2 weeks on, then 7 days off for Chistmas, back 1 day and 4 off for new year. I'm kinda of feeling like retired.

JJ, I don't know about the Marines, but the AF wouldn't let you accrue more than 60 days on the books. Don't know if they still have that reg on the books or not.

I imagine that it would. Do you use the soap and mug along with the brush? I don't remember your set up but know you got something in Germany. That's what I used. I shaved with a straight razor for 2 or 3 years, best shaves I've ever had.

The Marine Corps does and I think all services do now. It changed about three years ago. You can still only sell 60 days back when getting out though.
But, if you have, say, 90 days leave and you are getting out, you can take 30 days leave in conjunction with your terminal leave and sell 60 days back for cash.

I use a badger hair brush and the little Dovo soap tins. I use an alum block as after shave.
I hone with a 3,000 grit - 8,000 - (and now) 12,000 followed by a few strokes on the strop loaded with chromium oxide.
