Well, I new it was coming but did not know when. I had a surprise waiting for me when I walked in the house this evening. My Rodent 9 was patiently waiting for my arrival home, so as to be released from the box it was shipped in. If you can see on the upper handle there is a smudge or stain that I tried to remove but at the moment will not come off. Not to worried about it because this chopper will make its way outside soon enough. Very nice looking and very interested to see how my hand will like the handle after some extreme work. Looks good, you may have to scrub it with soap and water, I know my VZ 1911 grips would discolor from sweat and I ended up sealing them with clear min-wax.

Don't you love surprises? Congrats on the score! I'm hoping that the reason the R9 hasn't been posted yet is because they are making a large batch to have ready for shipment. Wouldn't that be great to not have to wait 3-8 weeks after ordering! I'm hoping that anyone who didn't get in on the Ganza or "accidental" pre-order gets their Rodent 9 soon! It really is a sweet blade!! I had fears about the handles, but I think they turned out great!
