Had a Dr. apt. this Friday AM with Dr. Woods. I'm under the care of a therapist for my addiction. If you notice anything odd about this session, well its Dr. Woods prescription. Have a great weekend fellow dogs. You can bet that it being a holiday this next Monday, Dr. Woods will probably want to see me a few times over the long weekend to assist me in his knife/gear recovery program. Notice that part of my recovery program is to use one of the vices that I'm addicted to.

You are dropping them! Got a giant freezer or feeding all your friends and the area soup shelters? Pure traditional with no sights?

Ahhhh long w/e....nice...

When I stated hunting after moving out here from Colorado the wife said, get a freezer, so we have a nice upright that holds a fair number of God's critters. I am doing traditional with no sights, I gave up my compound 100% this year. I will not crawl back to it ever again (well maybe not ever). I love the traditional because it seems to provide a better playing field. It just got to easy with a compound so I needed more of a challenge. I'm kicking it up another notch, I just put on order three bamboo shafts that will require some work to prep them as true arrow shafts. Along with that I also ordered one stone point. I have my turkey feathers and deer sinew that I will use to make a primitive arrow to hurl at one unsuspecting deer .

Quit hiding behind that mask and show us the weapon you used. If I took that with a bow it would no doubt be quite exciting. Very nice looking rack.

You will soon learn that is actually my face ...

Not a bow hunter myself mate, never got that bug. A custom .308 I had built up on a Sako AII action got that one...

The 308 is one of my favorites. I have an M1A Super Match from Springfield that I love reloading for. I'm still trying to master it. Shoots great groups at 100 yds in the prone position.

I had a Winchester M14 for many years that I shot some in Service Rifle Comps out here. Used my SLR (L1A1) more and somewhat preferred it ... the M14 was a more natural rifle on the range though.

And yes, the .308 round is probably close to my favourite as well, I have two as well as a .300Win and .375 H&H that I hunt with. Each has their place and limitations but that Sako gets more time out bush with me than any other these days..

Wow SF. Nice buck! Ok, yes I'm jealous. You are now leading the count. Guess this means you don't need to go out tomorrow night with me
