I wonder if these are sharpenable on a stone?

NO, it says they are Convex.
How would you then sharpen a convexed edge? Compared to sharpening a V edge?

To maintain the convex you need to use a material that has some softness like a leather strop, sand paper on a mousepad, or a belt sander.

Sharpening it on a normal flat stone will just lead to a normal v-grind. No harm if that is what you prefer.

Well wouldn't want to mess up the convex on my Basic 6. Not that it will need any kind of sparpening anytime soon.
Guess now it is time to get me that leather strop I have been considering.

You can sharpen a convex edge with a stone, if you like the "v" edge then you use a jig witha pre-determend angle that is consistent. If you do it by hand over time edges naturally become convexed. The leather strop is to maintain an edge that is already there.
