As most of you know, my job has me on the road quite a bit. Being in the West (not the coastal area) I have great scenery for my drives, but can't take pictures of it without being unsafe or pulling over.

My last trip to Idaho, I had company and he didn't mind driving, so I got to look out the window at mountains instead of traffic the whole time. It was a nice change. Here is what I saw, and I think these pictures show that you don't need blue skies for a beautiful day!

Really nice pictures JJ. Reminds me of the two years I spent at Mountain Home AFB. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I had a job out there.

Pretty sure we drove down through there on the trip (Calgary to Palm Springs, will need to go look at the map now. Beautiful country mate.
