I've been away a while. Things have been rough.
Had knee surgery where they took out most my cartilidge- WAY more than anticipated. It's been a few weeks, but depression has taken its toll. The really sad part is the knee was better off before the surgery and I wish I never went under the knife.

anyways, in case anyone was wondering, I'm still around and poke my head in from time to time, but I'm trying not to think about knives right now because, I don't want to have to thin the herd- with bills piling and no work, and it's not like I'm able to use my cutlery outdoors or at work anytime soon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Well, off to physical therapy. Wish me well.

I was wondering what had happened to you. Sorry to hear about the outcome of your surgery. Hang in there though, and Yeah it IS tough. But you can see your way through it. If you need or just want to talk you know some of us will be here.

hate to hear it tobotech. been a but rocky for me well. job and money drama always going to there no matter what.... but losing your mobility is a special kinda suck in it's own. we take for granted what it means to just be able to get up and walk into the kitchen. I twisted my ankle and it sucked trying to do anything outside of sitting around and trying not to move my leg. It's a depressing feeling for sure. But if you know that's where it's coming from then don't let it soak in too deep. Remember the other crap is always gonna be there and you are going to heal in time. Might as well prepare for the guy you want to be then while you have some time on your hands.

Get better brother. I know how it feels to be broken. Happened many times to me, but others brokeness isn't your own, so we can never really understand it all.

Brother, do know what you are saying. I have my share of knee surgeries and and most went ok but one made me feel like you are--the thing is to remember is that you will be back. Hang in there, it will get better.

Hang in there man.I had 4 shoulder surgeries in 8 months, I feel your pain.

I dread the day when I have to go under the knife,but the older I get the closer that day gets I'm afraid.
I've never had any kind of surgery,just a few stitches here & there & still have my tonsils even.

Hope your knee heals sooner rather than later.

It seems all I do is wake, drive work drive eat shower, sleep, /repeat.

Things are better. Knee hurts like a dickens, but I've been active doing 60 hour weeks not counting 50 mile round trip drive (1 day off this month so far).

Sadly, no new knives this year besides a couple spyderco's I pre-ordered back in June (the cf m390 is pretty neat!

I bought a vitamix so drinking veggie and fruit smoothie every morning, which keeps me going. Rest of money is going to pay off debts.

wish I had more time to hang out here, I miss ya'll.
