I dont like the handle design and for some reason it just doesn't jump out at me like the Ratweiler did, I KNOW it sounds crazy but when my OCD tells me I don't like somethin, I dont like it ;-)

The Rodent 9's handle is surprisingly comfortable. But I do prefer Rec-C.

I hear ya on that. I didn't like the look of the handle at all either, but ordered one to have. I was really surprised by how much I like the handle.
That being said, Res-C trumps all. My Dogfather (whose handle will be on the 7 & 9 11s) gets the most use and has made me sell battle mistresses and not use my other Big Busse & Swamp Rat blades. Hang in there for the 9 or 7!! It can't be too much longer.

I seriously doubt you will find a Ratwieler in the next Ganzaaa...unless it's a custom shop special (which will have $$ tied to it). I cannot wait for the SYKCO 711!!! That's gonna be a winner! I suspect the Yard version of the 7" and 9" blades will be hard to beat, with the Resiprene-C handles. I like my Rodent 9's, but I think that blade with a Res-C handle would be even better! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

You guys like the Rodent 9 handle? I like everything but that darn lump - its like a fat sub-hilt in the wrong place.
If I like the SYKC 911 I'll either grind down that darn lump (rodent cousin of pregnant dodo bird)or put it up for sale.

My impression was the 11 series would be released over the next year. If the Yard prices the rest of the series like the bargain the 511 is I may end up with one of each. I wish the Rodent 9 had a handle like a 'wieler on it. That would have been a grand slam in my book.
