For the people who are not familar with it here are the specs. Chopweiler - (micarta) (SR101) = 19.1 oz; .25” thick; 7.5625” blade; 13.1875” oal I never warmed up to the bump in the Ratweiler so the Chopweiler fits the bill perfect! I have not chopped with it yet but as soon as I am physically able Im going to TOWN!!!! Nice, the chopweiler is swell but, imho the Ratweiler is the undisputed KING OF THE RATS!!

Nice, the chopweiler is swell but, imho the Ratweiler is the undisputed KING OF THE RATS!! What makes you like the rat over the chop jb? The handle? The blades are pretty identical.

It is a good looking blade the handle just doesn't fit well for me. Sweet knives!
Yes, the CW is diff heat treated. You can see the temper line in his pics.
I would like a Ratweiler with a Chopweiler handle. Love those bowie profiles.
