Well fellow dogs it's that time of year. I am thankful for so many things this year. My new wife. The fact that we are expecting our first child. Having a good job during the worst economy of my young life.

Today I took some food that was left over from a work party to a shelter. I saw a young woman there with three children and many other folks that were there for one reason or another. It just reminded me how lucky I am and how easy it could be for me or anyone else to be in their shoes.

While the folks at the shelter were just happy to have the leftovers that we took. I along with other are probably griping about "Black Friday" lines at the stores and hoping we can get the newest gizmo out this year (or just an extra 7-11 to put in the safe).

I just wanted to tell yall how lucky I feel to live in the greatest country on the planet and to lead the life I lead. I also want to tell yall how much I've enjoyed becoming a part of this board this year. You are all good folks and it has been a pleasure to get to know yall. So sincerely from my family to the rest of the Yard, Happy Thanksgiving. May you be as blessed as I am.
