man I have air gun on the brain. actually spotted some pretty good deals while surfing. even see a couple rifle scopes I may grab as upgrades for the old 10/22... never heard of Hawke but they seem to be decent enough for the prices. gotta love good deals...

oh and didn't get around to mentioning it it the .22lr thread but I picked up a used Benjamin Discovery in .22 for cheap. Haven't shot it very far but man these things hit hard for an airgun. the little varmints don't stand a chance.

nope, I've been finding them. seen some good pretty deals going around since I started looking around but I just bought the Benjamin a week ago so I'm pretty much set. I did just notice an inverntory closeout on some nice rifles for a nice price so I am considering one of those as well.

I have an old RWS 52, side cocking in 177 that has been very reliable. I have always wanted to try the 22 cal. Air rifles though.

the disco I got hits pretty hard. looks just shy of a .22 short the damage I'm seeing. I added a muzzle brake so now it's sounds about as loud as a hand clap when I shoot it. my hope is to get a maurauder at some point to have a repeated but the disco is rocking.

I also peeped a popular crosman in .177 for $60. i think it's claiming 1000 fps. would be great to leave in the closet for pests. I think I would try my hand at some mods. maybe cut the barrel and toss on a airgun red dot. make it a tactical can kill or something.

I also wouldnt mind a nice .22 break barrel since I see the damage they can do. waiting on a email from a manufactor named Cometa. they have something going on that may be worth looking at.

I have a hawke it's pretty clear and did not lose zero after a season of 'yote hunting (.223)
For the money, it's been good. I'm. It sure how well it would do on a heavy recoiling rifle.

On my airforce condor I have a entry level vortex scope. It works fine within the limits of an air rifle.

It was about he same price as the hawke. On a .22 either would work well.
