Very nice with decent weather. My brothers and all of our families get together at one of their homes across the river in Ohio, there are four of use and my brother loves to put out a big spread of food and we all have a good time busting each other chops and laugh and have a great time.

New Years Eve is mainly drunks and fireworks complaints, so I hear. I haven't worked one since I've been here though. I've gotten Christmas every year.

Sounds like your family enjoys the holidays. Patty's family used to but since her older sister died of Cancer in '02 and her Dad in '04 her family has just gotten sour (except for Patty) on the whole holiday thing, ANY holiday.

I'm not big on Christmas myself. Too commercialized. I still love the season, but I hate all the "Gimme gimme gimme" that I hear all the time.

My first wife left me the day after Christmas of 1999. I hated Christmas for a long time after that, wouldn't even have done Christmas if it wasn't for the kids.

I agree with you 100 percent Todd. We have let "THE HOLIDAYS" get to commercialized and that whole greed thing has spilled over into our families (kids?) as well.

Now, I can take it or leave it. We didn't do a tree this year, mainly because I was working. But we all decided to not do gifts except for the kids, and it worked out ok that way. No stressing out over who to buy for and how much to spend.
