that's great. I and lived and spent a large chunk of my childhood growing up at outdoor environmental schools that my dad organized and directed.
they where on large camps and schools could come and get there science stuff covered by trained science teachers and they had 10,000 kids a year. since I was home schooled and lived on the camps I could get up early and and get all my school done be 12:00
and have the rest of the day to bike and hike the camps that where over 400 acres of woods, swamps, lakes, and streams. mountain biking was the fastest way to get around. I also had lots of area to play army growing up. with 10,000 kids a year I had a great aggressor force to wage pretend gorilla warfare on<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> its great having a squad (a 12 member group of kids with their cabin leaders) walk almost on top of you as you lay in your your hide site. it was also fun to play capture the flag with the kids in the woods.
