I just got off the phone with mom. I am 35 and she made feel like a little boy again, not in a good way. lesson learned; even if you don't celebrate Christmas, call you mom that day anyway,

Yep you have to remember to call Mom unless its a serious reason for not. Parents are always your parents. I don't think they ever lose that Mom and Dad superpower if you still get along.

Dad went back to visit a friend of his that runs the Special Warfare School. I think he is going to get one of the Yarbrough knives. He found out about them when he was there.

I did about three more stories about them, not including award ceremonies, and had to suffer for them too. I see why they were never in the paper before I got there. I was the only military reporter for Stripes in Stuttgart.
