Yep. My friend has been trying to get them out here for an investigation. Apparently there have been several sightings. I do think that one of the reported sightings was me on a mountain top though.

A mountain lion scream can be pretty unnerving. I have heard a few i would have sworn was a lady screaming for her life.

Most noises at night now, close to home, are coyotes. They're everywhere here now.

I've got an electronic call set up for them, but I'm trying to get the money up for a night vision scope for my .17 HMR.

I don't trust yotes. I got surrounded by them one morning just before dawn when I was bowhunting as a kid. They kept running towards me and would veer off just before i could tag it with my bow. I have a deep hatred for them ever since. If they howl nearby it still sends a chill up my spine.

Never had much dealing with them, but when my little house dog came in heat last fall they were everywhere. We were sleeping with the windows open, and I could hear them yapping and howling every night, right close to the house. I killed a couple, but there were still plenty around.

I wouldn't even take her out without a pistol on me, and I surely didn't let her out alone.

I should thin out the pack where I hunt this winter. They den the next ridge over from where I camp. I always have them give a nice chorus right at dark.

There isn't a closed season on them here, and I've got a good place to shoot them right off my front porch. I'm gonna put my call up down in the corner of the yard and just wait.

They are year round here as well. They are pretty wary though.

I've only seen a few myself, maybe a dozen or so. Killed two of them, missed a couple more. Sometimes I sit in the front yard with my rifle, just hoping they'll come by chasing a deer or something.

When I worked on a ranch they were everywhere. Destructive little beasts.
