GREAT NEW YEARS, spent the first 8 hours of it at work. That's OK though, we didn't have any other thing planned.

and there was a really cool looking stainless steel marlin with a rail on top at one time. think the price jumped pretty good on that one though.

Saw one at the gun show yesterday. Had a price tag of $880 on it. Sounded a little steep, but I haven't priced them in a while.

I'm spending my Sunday afternoon watching a little football and relaxing. Turned off cloudy and a little windy here, but pretty warm outside.

I've been thinking a lot lately about unloading some of my firearms. I think I need to just concentrate on the core. For pistols, a 22lr, 9mm/357 and 45acp. I might keep at least one of my .32acp pistols just cause they are small and easy to conceal. If not MAYBE my Walther PP .380. In long guns, my Colt AR15a3, my Ruger 10-22, a good shotgun with the pistol grip butt stock and a different (lighter) 308.

I think we are just going to stay home and relax, doing not much of anything.

OK, I lied! But I didn't know I was. It seems like we are going to a couple flea markets. Patty and our neighbor, the school teacher (she turned 80 Dec 28th and is still teaching) decided we need to get out.

I am curious to see how work goes with everyone waking up and slowly getting over hangovers.

We are enjoying a nice family get-together here at the in-laws; youngsters are behaving and having a good time. It's a late Christmas, New Years, and early birthday celebration for the mother-in-law. Lots of good food and drink too!

We're just relaxing around the house, I made us some lunch and now we're watching a movie. Weather sucks so no range time which is what I really wanted to do.

Sar5 - your message box is full. We are at my in-laws home, about 30 miles south of Macomb in western Illinois.

Today wasn't that bad. We wound up going to the flea markets again today, we took the 80 year old school teacher that lives next door to us along. Patty didn't buy anything, but I got a pair of Rockport waterproof 6 inch leather boots for $20.00! They look brand new and are really comfortable.
