He supposedly molested my wife and her older sister when they were kids, so I wasn't taking any chances.

JJ, that's one thing I've never been accused of. He knew where I stood before his daughter and I divorced. I wouldn't allow him in my house.

My ex invited him over for Thanksgiving dinner once without telling me. I came in from deer hunting, and found him there. I told him he could leave on his feet or in a bag, but he was leaving. And yes, I completely meant it. I would have shot him had he moved toward me at all.

He killed his uncle many years ago over a bar they co-owned. Shot him 14 times and got off by saying it was self defense. I wouldn't give him the chance.

Sorry to go off about him like that, but just thinking about the crap he put me through gets me going.

On a different note - being in the desert makes me electric. I haven't touched a metal object since I have been here without creating an arc.

We're headed down in the teens the next couple nights. I dread it, just because of the heating bills and for the dogs outside.

My brother has a bunch of outside animals, including a couple of pygmy goats. I'm wondering if he brings them in. He brings in all his dogs at night when it gets cold.
