Sure was!

I had another night where I was walking to a girlfriend's house - about a mile out of town and past a cemetary - and I was walking under a couple of underpasses and could hear my footsteps echo - probably the fastest mile I've ever run after that!

ahhhhhhhhh forget that!! I would have stayed at the house!

my big brother loves sneaking up on us, real quiet like and grabs your shoulder with a "booo!" makes you jump right out of your shoes!

Ha! My Dad lives just a few blocks from the middle of town in Louisiana. We get stray cows in our yard sometimes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

There were peacocks that lived out there too - the first time I was walking down the cemetary road and heard them I about crapped myself too!

they say peacocks are great "Guard Birds!" they freak and make a whole lotta racket if somebody comes near. I was driving down here couple of years ago and one jumped outta nowhere right on my hood! Screamed and yelled! (the bird too) but it was okay. Sure was perdy feathers all over the place!

Ha!

A buddy of mine ran over and killed one of the peacocks coming home from highschool one day!

They sound like cats.
