I may wait till next spring to get mine, if Old Grumpybutt gets her way. She wants us to pay off her Explorer first. Not a bad idea, but as soon as it gets paid for she'll want something else. So I'm thinking this spring...

I'd like to have the Explorere paid for too, but we'll have some other stuff paid for soon too. Like our bedroom furniture will be paid for next month, and that alone is almost the bike payment I'm looking at.

Plus I just changed our insurance company, which knocked it down to less than $100/month instead of nearly $150 for the same coverage.

I want to pay one more bill off. Well that and make sure I don't get hosed on taxes this year.

The wife claims she wants me to keep my jeep but wants me to sell it to get the bike. I'm not real hot on selling the jeep. Having a spare all weather vehicle has its merits.

Amen to that! My truck is paid for, and even if I get something else I'm keeping it. If I don't get a bike, I'll probably end up getting a small car for running around. Something like a Kia Soul.

I could stand a new vehicle anyway, my truck is a 91 and getting up there in miles. But I drive less than 5 miles each way to work, so I don't need anything new.

I like my old jeep its paid for and its so ugly its cool. Plus mechanically its sound. Engine has less than 20 on a rebuild and its not even close to stock. That thing is a beast.

My first vehicle was a 1968 Jeep Commando. Ugly as sin, but I loved that thing. I never got it stuck, and I tried. Just one of many vehicles that I wish I had back.
