If you have butterfly closures get some skin glue. It really helps. Or crazy glue. I've got on the "Back of my mind" list.

Super Glue was designed by doctors. That and duct tape are the basis of any fix-all, survive-all kit!

We had a mild sand storm roll through base today. Windy as hell.

I stand corrected. Wikipedia excerpt:
Cyanoacrylates (Super glue) were developed in 1942 by Dr. Harry Coover and Fred Joyner of Kodak Laboratories during experiments to make a transparent plastic suitable for gun sights.[1] Although not appropriate for the gun sights, they did find that cyanoacrylates would quickly glue together many materials with great strength. Seeing possibilities for a new adhesive, Kodak developed "Eastman #910" (later "Eastman 910") a few years later as the first true "super glue."

I read an article about duct tape once, there is a whole website (maybe more) to the medicinal uses of it. Some of the stuff is wild!

Last time I got cut and went to the ER, they used superglue to close it. Now I just glue it myself.
