My first run in with superglue to hold a "wound" together was when we had out Dog spayed. I'd never heard of that use for it before. Course this was 13 years ago too.

Call me whatever, I don't think I could staple my own cuts. I've had a few of those, and I'd MUCH rather have stitches.

It takes a lot of nerve and choking down the pain to do it right. Staples are easier with the little stapler they come in. Just line it up, look away if you have to, and squeeze.

I can understand it looking at it that way. I couldn't stitch myself either...

But again, looking at it that way I probably could staple it.

I felt the same way about staples, but then again, I have dug lead pellets out of my face.

Haha, NO, I shot myself in the face with a 12 gauge shotgun if you must know. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

But again, looking at it that way I probably could staple it. Either stapling or stitching yourself is difficult to stomach, but staples need less skill to do. If it seems to hard to do, just go to the doc. If you are making a FAK, staples are the way to go. They are simpler and easier than stitches, and not just on yourself but on your companions too.

Actually what happened is I was out hunting with a friend and decided to shoot a plastic milk jug that was laying on the ground (it was a SLOW rabbit day) and didn't notice the stuff behind the sage brush and the pellets came back at me. Three dinged my safety glasses, one skirted just under the skin on the bottom of my nose between the nostrils, two more caused red marks on my neck and one went in about an inch below my eye. The hole going in shrank dramatically, you wouldn't believe how much trouble I had digging that thing out.
