Night Todd. Beer is a great thing, but ugly for the belly. I cut down when I started loosing weight. Getting dit means you don't drink that much. I drink a beer and I am done <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> really can't do the bottle a night thing like a few years ago.

I feel for ALL of US with a weight problem.
But the last couple days have been even more stressful.
We found a water leak Sunday afternoon. I couldn't fix it so off with the water.
While trying to fix it Monday I created a larger problem by bumping a different like and causing it to break at a fitting. I finally called a plummer, but he didn't answer. He finally answered and came out. Problem solved. About 2 hours later we hear an explosion. Something gave way. Off with the water again. He called back about 0730 this morning and was here in about 20 minutes, he had forgot and left his phone on vibrate as they had been at a funeral. HOPEFULLY it will last. He said did doesn't like a couple fittings he had to use but has to drive 30 miles one way to get the kind he does like. He'll be back some time. Hope it all holds together.
I tend to stress out about things like this.
SO, how goes the Yard?

Boy, you would think spring time was here now. We just had a HEAVY rainstorm with the thunder and lightening and wind. Was blowing so hard the rain was blowing sideways! But it's calmed down now. Hope it stays that way.

Well SO FAR, he is going to come back later on with some sort of fittings that he says are better. In a small town like this it is hard to find items that aren't used that much. folks just tend to use the easiest to use items, not thinking about a more permanent fix.

I understand that. Fix it with whatn you have on hand then get what it takes to do it right. I'm just hoping it works out for you. I remeber trying to hunt down parts for my last house. They changed the building code after my last house was built and by todays standards it had some odd stuff. I was able to improvise but it was frustrating/

I need to get motivated and walk down to the basement to get on the excercise bike. My motivation isn't really good this morning.

I would think that stairs wouldn't be all that good for your knees.

Bedrooms on the second floor and gym in the basement. I hobble around stairs pretty well.

I've got what they call bilateral condromalasia patella. (not sure on the spelling, but it's close enough) It's both knees. They wanted to operate on them while I was stationed in the Philippines back in 1976. I talked to a lot of guys that had it done and they all said IF I could avoid it, put it off as long as possible.
Needless to say, I have and it doesn't pop up to often, but when it does I almost fall down. I might have to get it fixed one of these days, just don't know for sure. For the most part I do ok.
