Lone supervisor on duty and tons of admin stuff to get done along with the regular stuff. Plus we were short staffed. So I was hopping all week.

Sounds like it. We're running short right now too, thanks to one of our guys being a new pappy. Every night we're two short, out of eight cars on the road. Doesn't sound too bad, but it's pretty thin.

I know your pain. We can bare bones a shift with 8 and be ok. But 7 kills us. Ideal is between 10 and 12 on not counting overlap.

Our lieutant and sargeant went on a call last night because we didn't have anyone else to send, ended up fighting the guy, tasing him, and then had to take him to the hospital for a broke nose and some other injuries.

I was shagging calls with another agency as back up and booking people. Its been an odd time lately. Manning has been bad with long term injuries and people out sick.

The stupid is strong in this county tonight! I'll be doing well to get through the night with my sanity!
