Dear Dan,
The Basic 10 seems to be a big hit for the HOGS. The primary feature (other than INFI) that made these so interesting was the "no choil" offering. Now, I will never know if this was a financially rewarding offer by Busse...but I am hopeful that it was.
I am also hopeful that we might see a similar offering when the 911 is offered to the Yard. A no choil, ultra convex saber bevel 911 would provide a truly insane price to performance ratio!! I have a feeling that this would get the DOGS slobbering on themselves
I'll leave a poll here...let the Dogs speak for themselves.
Sincerely,
Ishikawa

I meant to select "NO CHOIL" but some how selected "STANDARD CHOIL".
So discount the one vote FOR a choil.
Choils? We no need no stink'n choils!

If both were offered, of course I would have to get both.

I would prefer one without a choil, but I voted both in an attempt to make everyone happy.

Just out of curiosity, for those that vote "BOTH"...do you really want a choil, are you just trying to collect every model mfg by Dan, or do you just want Dan to release two different versions?

I voted No choil but to be honest on the larger blades I don't mind either way. It is the blades with say a blade length under 6" where I find choils to be a real pain. You not only lose much of the possible blade length but they also get hung up on stuff when cutting.

I made this poll because of the relevant success of the B-10, and how happy those that got the choil-less version seem to be. However, Perhaps we should start one for the 411!!! If that blade was no-choil, it would give the CABS a run for its money!!

I'm still on the fence about getting a 911; I've got multiple Dog Fathers and SODs, so aside from it being SR101 instead of SR77, don't feel a strong need for another chopper. For folks who missed out on Dog Father's though, the 911 will be a great opportunity.
