Hope everybody has a Scrappy New Year! My plan is to just stay put. It was a tight year but things are looking good for 2012. So I'm just ready to get to it... And I have my first piece of steel headed this way in over a year so it will be a Scrappy New Year for me! And that makes for happy days... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

2010 and 2011 were horrible years for our family, hope 2012 is better for everyone.

Just having a quiet homebound new year myself. I met up with a good friend (Pappy) and we had some deep conversations although I carried most of the discussion. I am sure that I laid out the entire year of new knives but I am having trouble remembering what we decided LOL Any way I hope everyone had a great New Year day Dan

Haha I got to take the girls to the flea markets again. Worked out for me though, I got a pair of rockport waterproof leather boots for $20.00! Yeah they are slightly used, but you can hardly tell it. I'm happy.

a little belated...
Had some friends over
kids shot each other with the nerf guns and played on the guitars
We all ate hot wings, meat balls, and smoked sausage out of several simering crock pots
We all continued eating from cherry cheese cake, turtle pie, and coconut cream
We all then went out on the porch and blasted some big ol' fireworks off
Then the men all drank hot black coffee and talked about guns and LED flashlights.
Women looked at us and proceeded to roll their eyes.
Good times.
