I found my scrapivore waiting for me when I got home from work lastnight! Did not expect to have it 2 days after ordering. Thought the 711 was going to be my first one lol. Started working on it almost as soon as i opened it! ![[Linked Image from i58.photobucket.com]](http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g262/wes8822/2012-01-13_22-17-22_107.jpg) I convexed the edge a little today (not pictured) will take new pics here soon. Im in love, such a sweet practical blade! Tuesday a sheath will be in the works!

Does anyone know how these are for throwing? Seems like it would fair well if the big dogs can do it.

Usually 7-10$ at your local army surplus. I was surprised how little that took, it was like 3ft.

WesD, does the scrapivore actually lock into the sheath? THAT would be great!

It Holds it in fairly well, If you notice on the comparison pic the CS has that little hole that the sheath locks into. But the scrapivore can be wedged in it pretty securely but they are almost identical dimensions on the two blades, everyone Ive shown thinks it and the wrap are part of the knife lol. But its only temporary
Also If you are doing a parachord wrap on the handle and it is not staying tight for you, I discovered a trick yesterday. Get your sink flowing hot as it can, run the handle under for a moment let it soak in nicely and pull your slack ends (it will automatically tighten but pulling helps) and dab it dry, i kept pulling as it dried and I set it in front of a heater until it dried. But now it feels like concrete, i can tap the hollow part of the handle and get a tone from the steel! I cant believe how well it turned out!
And Steely those LE's look awesome im jealous. I notice that doesn't have the hole down by the pry end? Thats where I pulled both ends through and really let me get it tight. Im still super jealous of yours!
