Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback! That one is walnut, which is ALOT easier to carve that the burly poplar im using on the next one, it was driving me nuts today.
>And thats very interesting on the magnets, ive been throwing that idea around all day since I read that, it would solve a lot of problems as well as make it much easier to make. I may have a way to keep it clean easily, ill have to experiment. Im very interested in getting into the knife making industry, so I feel if I get these figured out that could open up some doors for me!

Okay, Here is another sheath i've been working on, and boy shes pretty! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Made from a beautiful piece of poplar with purpleheart and osage orange accents.
