My 711 arrived today <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />and I thought people would be wanting a picture of them, so here you go

Wow except for the thumb ramp they look alike.

How's the feel difference?

The 711 seems to have quite a resemblance to the SOD. The handle looks to be slightly thicker.??

Thanks for the heads up on the pic. I don't really notice any difference in the feel of the two blades, I agree the hump is the only difference. I do love them both and if you don't have SOD the 711 is a PERFECT replacement.

Thanks for the great pics . It's nice to see them side by side that way . You have aquite a collection there too .

The grind is different too right? I also like that the finger choil seems to be a little closer to the handle.
