Oh brother, your in for it now!

I'm going to get both a kydex and leather. The difficult choice is from who?

The two leather makers I recommend to you are rain walker and Dwayne at armourall leather.

Kydex benders are al werkes, mashed cat, Dave brown, and if you check out the exchange our very own glock craze is now making a nice looming sheath as well.

I own from all but gc and looking to rectify that soon. I can't recommend them enough to you.

Oh by the way welcome to the yard!

Welcome to the Yard!

I would point you to these two fine characters, who are obviously recommended by the Big Dog himself!! http://www.scrapyardknives.com/sheaths.htm

Jeff (Rainwalker) makes some fantastic leather sheaths....and he can get creative

I've emailed with Jeff the past couple days. I'm thinking of doing a cross-draw kind of thing. maybe leather with a kydex insert..any thoughts on how this would work with the 711?

Scrappah, WELCOME to the Glorious Addiction! Any of the sheath makers here are top notch and you can't go wrong with any of them. Just beware, you'll be buying a LOT of pants for all the blades you're gonna get!

It should work fine. The 711 isn't so huge that it would protrude out at an awkward angle hindering movement.

Good luck!

Welcome. I ordered a kydex sheath for mine yesterday by AZWELKE, together with an extra sheath for my Scrapivore. I also picked up my 711 at the post office today, WOOHOO!! I will post pictures of the whole wonder, once I get my sheaths.
