A hybrid leather/clear kydex would look awesome with a Damaskus blade!
Subtle and still showing what is otherwise often hidden.
The clear kydex does look cool!
Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!

I'm not sure I'm sold on the clear kydex, but for your own in-house prototyping this is a clear (harhar!) winner. You can see exactly where the kydex grips the knife and how it molds to it. Maybe it will make your kydex sheath making even better.. if thats possible <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
