amals, being a Ratmandu LE vice a "Ratmandeux LE", I think this will be different. I'm guessing no top quillion for instance and maybe 5" vice 6 (although I wouldn't say no to a 6")
You're right; I was thinking of the RatManDeux LE. THAT'S a beautiful blade. 'Course, for my taste, a RMD LE will be a looker, too. I like an unpainted blade. I'm thinking of stripping one of my RMD's and playing with the finish.

Nothing makes you feel dirty like stripping your blade <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

A pic is up and I have to say it isn't what I was hoping for. I didn't really have any expectations I was just hoping something would be even just slightly different than the standard RMD. Besides the satin finish of course. Sweet knife though.

Oh, it's satin SR 101 with black g10 handle. Looks sharp.

We need to move past the love affair with the RMD.

How about a Chop / Ratweiler LE or SE (comp finish)? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I think if they would've simply just a added a swedge then that would've made all the difference in the world for me, but, I do realize they probably just made these out of blanks that have already been heat treated. It would've been tough to grind a swedge.

Ish, I would definitely go for a Ratwieler LE.

Sweet RMD Andy!

Who did the work? I think the screws are a must for nekkid SR101

and how 'bout a LE/SE Chopweiler or Ratweiler? It would give the Swamp an excuse to release them again...
