Well I had an idea that I think is decent so I thought I would share...

Spec-Ops sheath + heat gun + 511 =

It makes for kind of a bushcrafter like rig.

Looks nice, I always liked pouch sheathes.

Nice job!

I have a regular kydex sheath for the 511s too but it is a little noisey. This setup had sevral plusses.

One I didn't have to wait.
Two it won't stretch out like leather.
Three cost.
Four quieter.

I might go this route on a Brian Andrews Terrasuar too. Blend the old and new.

Leather pouch sheaths always make me nervous(knife retention) and there aren't many kydex lined leather sheaths out there. This might bridge the gap.

Very nice, which model spec-op is that and what exactly did you do with the heat gun? Just mould the kydex liner?

My mother told me if didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything but that never stopped me before.

I purchased the Remington sheath that looks like the spec-ops one above for less than 20 bucks. It works very well for my MO 511. I hear the spec-ops one is better but I have never done a side by side comparison of the two. YMMV
