One I didn't have to wait. Two it won't stretch out like leather. Three cost. Four quieter. I might go this route on a Brian Andrews Terrasuar too. Blend the old and new. Leather pouch sheaths always make me nervous(knife retention) and there aren't many kydex lined leather sheaths out there. This might bridge the gap. I hear the spec-ops one is better but I have never done a side by side comparison of the two. YMMV Franco Unklfranco JYD #159
