the thicker the better... GF- negative on the whale, in fact i just got it yesterday so its cherry is intact... not for long, of course -- i think skinning a whale would be right up its alley, though...

I voted 5/16 on the poll, I'll quite happily have 1/4 (Dan's new bowie) but I do like the .275 on the Scrappers. That 3/8 custom is a monster, it looks a big flat grind though so I guess it isn't that heavy....
