OK, I didn't know it was that long ago.

I am really liking this trigger job on the Ruger. It feels like it is less than two pound pull. I should see if my gun dealer has a trigger scale I can use.

Did YOU do a trigger job on it or is it a drop in?

I put a Volquatsen sear and trigger in it and polished a few points.

OK, those are supposed to be tops for the Rugers.

The trigger doesn't make any difference to the pull weight I don't think. It does have adjustment screws to take the pretravel and overtravel out.

Depending upon how it connects, it could, mainly due (possibly) to roughness of the part.

The trigger connects to the hammer by a flat bar. I guess some friction could have been removed from the trigger pin hole being smoother, but I doubt it. I think the new sear and polishing did the majority of the reduction in pull.

I agree about the polishing. That is what I was talking about when I said depending upon how the trigger is connected. I know on a 45 I had once, the trigger loop (stirrup?) was really rough and I polished that up along with the grooves it rode in. It moved a lot smoother after I was finished. Of course I also polished up the sear as well.

Just put the last coat of Leather Sheen on the holster to seal it from moisture. A little too shiny for my taste, but time will fix that.

Jeff gave me some good advice on forming the leather and it worked out great.

I had to attach a length of PVC pipe to the pistol in place of a silencer to make sure it would accommodate the Sparrow.
