Looks like a quality part. If you have issues with charging your AR, get it. If you can charge your weapon with either hand, with and without gloves, in the cold snow or heat, then don't waste your money on something you don't need.
I have never had an issue charging any M16 or AR and I have fired zillions of 5.56 rounds.

I have an ACOG on both my personal and every one the Corps has ever issued me and never had an issue with the charging latch. But, like I said, if you need it, it looks like a quality piece.

Also, if you are using your AR for targets, adding the latch shouldn't be an issue. If you are using the AR as a SHTF ready weapon, think about keeping your weapon snag proof. It may not be an issue, but loops like the one on the Badger can get hooked by things.

Military bolt actions and the ammo to them were hot sellers so far this weekend, 7.62 by 54r, 8mm, 303, and the normal 223, 556 and 7.62-39.

I am in the market for a good bolt action 22lr. Been shoping around the pawn shops and going to a gun show here in a few weeks.

So far, the Savage Mark II is in the lead. Great price and seems to be a pretty reliable and accurate weapon. Any experience with one? Or feed back from customers?

I got to see and handle the new Ruger 10/22 take down package today and was very impressed with it. OK. Now I am changing my mind about a bolt action. I have been debating between a full size bolt action or an Henry AR 7. The take down looks like a good mix of both superior portability and full size weapon.
