Randy after messing with the Ruger this weekend i think it would be hard to beat, but then again i have no experience with the Marlin. and i do plan on picking up one of the Rugers in the near future .Randy i got lucky the mags and the batteries were at cost, the pants came with a belt cheaper than i could have gotten them off the net, and the ammo was about 11$ a box including tax, i did spend more than i wanted to but it was things i needed to pick up and i saved over 50 $ or so buy getting them this weekend.

I'm liking the 10/22 take down. pretty sure there will be some more portable stocks avaiable for it down the lime as well. should make for a sleek pack with way more options than the papoose.

jj. theres a threaded muzzle adater you can order that would allow you to add the can without having to thread. even if you do thread it you might want the adatpter to use on other 10/22's down the road.

That I did. They were closed today and the online store you have to put a local gun dealer info in before it lets you complete the payment. So, I called a buddy who works there and he called the owner ... long story short ... I gave the money to my buddy.
