I watched some videos of a 10/22 with a Volquortsen buffer installed and it almost had a cycle as quiet as a bolt action.

The Nikon is about $80 bucks cheaper, but the Leupold, well, is a Leupold.

JJ i am no expert on optics and prefer open sights and usually am fairly cheap when looking at scopes, my friend at work swears by Leupold and will not use anything else, he normally will spend more on the optic than the rifle.

you guys seen the 10/22 barrel with the shroud for the suppressor? basically a short barrel with a welded on shroud to make it 16". the shroud covers the suppressor so no added length when you have it on. makes it a one stamp item.

Most of my friends are the same way. Spending more on optics than the rifle that is. I like iron sights, and think it is a skill that should be maintained, but I like optics for fun.

Skunk was talking about them last night. I still prefer having a detachable suppressor. One stamp, multiple guns.

That definitely looks cool, tacti-cool. Not sure I want to shorten my barrel though. Kind of defeats the purpose of a rifle.
