Yeah, I can get the two bedroom one planted, foundation and still have money to get the solar and water well for less than 100K. I think it is a good deal.

I didn't see the 16X27 listed, but It would be really nice. Yeah getting something like that with the Off the Grid system and the bathroom system, NICE, and being self sufficient will make it even better.

Question, would you have to come up with some sort of cover for the solar panels when you weren't there, to protect them from storms/hail damage?

That is not the company that had the 16x27. That one was a true log cabin company, but a bit more expensive.

As for panel protection; no worries. Most if not all panels these day come with warranties. They have "gorilla" glass on top.
