They are, but they are not of my hand/eye. A fellow Marine Corps Combat Correspondent took them. He took the car one recently and the tank in Africa a while back.

I just saw a WAR DOG on tv. the descovery channel has something on seal team 6.
I exseal member was talking about gear and he had a knife on his hip. I am 95% sure it was a war dog handle.

My personal kit is an E-PL2 Olympus.
I have a few kits at work. A Canon EOS 1D X with many lenses and a Canon 7D with lenses.

Nikons are good cameras, but they are not better or worse. Both brand have their strong points. Canon tends to be more durable, so the Marine Corps has a contract with them. They even make digital camo lenses and bodies just for us.

Or maybe your old personal equipment was Nikon?
