One of our Gun Dogs, get it gun dogs, as in hunting as.... Oh never mind. Anyway thought some of you newer dogs might like to see this and the older Dogs might like a refresher. So here it is (fresh from the Keeper email portion of my email account. Looks like the folks in Hungary have come up with a shoulder fired, long recoil operated .50 caliber semi-auto rifle, which is called the Gephard Lynx. It is available in .50 Browning Machine Gun caliber or the old Soviet 12.7 millimeter heavy machine gun round (which was sometimes callled ".51 caliber Russian"). Howdy Dogs, not Gun, knife or outdoors related but we got good news today.
They found the bad parathyroid gland! Woo HOO!!! I know it sounds strange to be happy over finding something wrong, but finding this (and getting it removed, there are 4 of them by the way) will take care of SO many of the problems Patty has been having (or it's supposed to). We go to St. Louis in 3 weeks to consult with the Surgeon and from there on with the throat cutting!
So, how are the Dogs this evening/morning?

Well the National Weather Service missed their forecast for Friday. They had forecast 104 but it officially got up to 106! THAT'S HOT!
