One of our Gun Dogs, get it gun dogs, as in hunting as.... Oh never mind. Anyway thought some of you newer dogs might like to see this and the older Dogs might like a refresher. So here it is (fresh from the Keeper email portion of my email account.
Looks like the folks in Hungary have come up with a shoulder fired, long recoil operated .50 caliber semi-auto rifle, which is called the Gephard Lynx. It is available in .50 Browning Machine Gun caliber or the old Soviet 12.7 millimeter heavy machine gun round (which was sometimes callled ".51 caliber Russian"). The gun weighs about 25 pounds and recoil doesn't seem to be all that bad. Be sure to scroll down and watch the video:
